Myzus persicae

The species Myzus persicae is a small aphid belonging to the Aphididae family. It is the most significant pest to peaches, causing shrivelling of leaves and necrosis of various tissues.


M. persicae has many natural enemies, such as beetles and ladybirds:Adalia bipunctata, Coccinella septempunctata, and Coccinella decempunctata. Some bugs, and other certain aphids.
