A Male Yellow Dung Fly
Scathophaga stercoraria or the Yellow Dung Fly is a dung fly that lives in the Northern Hemisphere. Scathophaga stercoraria flies around dung from sheep, cows, poultry, horses, and humans. The female of this insect is green, so not all are yellow. They belong to the Diptera order, and the Scathophagidae family.
